Learning to drive with a hand difference
Aussie Hands provides information and resources about learning to drive with a hand difference.
This information was developed from a Transurban Community Grant funded Workshop for young learner drivers with a hand difference in Victoria in February 2020.
At this workshop, an Occupational Therapist, VicRoads-accredited Occupational Therapy Driving Assessor and Co-convener of the driving special interest group through Occupational Therapy Australia, highlighted that there are experts across Australia that are available to advise individuals and their families on topics such negotiating the processes and procedures and spinner knob options for one handed driving.
